Adam j. Hoffman

director of City Market

Adam joined City Market in 2019 after over 20 years of experience in restaurants and hospitality. His management history from Winston’s Grill, Clouds Brewery and High Horse have made guest experience a top priority in his role as Director of City Market and General Manager of Market Hall. Adam is a Raleigh native and lives with his wife and three daughters here in the City of Oaks.


 

Kristen Leen

Kristen joined Market Hall as the Director of Sales & Marketing in 2018 and brought with her over eight years of hospitality experience. She is a Certified Wedding Planner and currently serves on the Raleigh-Durham International Live Events Association Board of Directors.  Kristen enjoys educating clients about the event industry and connecting them with a great team of event professionals who will bring their vision to life!  She loves providing guests a full service experience at Market Hall so they can relax and enjoy leaving the details to us. Kristen lives near downtown Raleigh with her husband, son and two dogs, Lincoln and Dexter!

 

Chris hill

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Chris joined Market Hall in 2018 and brought with him over 39 years of hospitality experience. As the son of an American father and a Vietnamese mother, Chris grew up in a two-cuisine household with boisterous gatherings at dinner time. From an early age he knew what he wanted to do, and after a stint in college, he hit the road with friends, perfecting his craft throughout the country. During this experience and in his upbringing, he was introduced to many different ingredients, textures and tastes. Chris has dedicated his time and efforts to cooking, sourcing out the premier ingredients and understanding the business of food. His favorite part of working at Market Hall is the history of the space and the team he gets to work with on a daily basis. Chris enjoys the variety of each event and the opportunity to play a vital role in a client’s big day.

Katie joined Market Hall in 2020 as the Operations & Event Manager after 5 years in the hospitality industry. She has extensive event design background and a passion for helping guests enjoy events from the visual and dining experience.
